SELVA trail, our private hiking trail is a very easy 20-30 minute circular trail.

Playa La Selva, Playa La Pared and Playa Escondida are the closest beaches and are each a 20 minute car ride from SELVA.

SELVA is located within the rainforest system. The main entrance to the national forest of El Yunque is a 25 minute car ride.

SELVA is close to many beaches, the national rainforest, numerous waterfalls and rivers. Fajardo and Ceiba from where guests can partake in excursions, both on and off land are less than 20 minutes by car. Upon booking we provide our guests with a digital guest guide with various recommendations on what to see and do.

SJU, the international airport in San Juan is a 50 minute car ride.

Ceiba airport which takes you to the neighboring islands Vieques and Culebra is a 20 minute car ride.

Plaza Fajardo features various retailers and supermarkets, such as Walgreens and a Walmart. This strip mall is less than 15 minutes by car.

There are no public transport options.

We recommend renting a 4x4 vehicle or at least an SUV when visiting SELVA

If renting a car is not an option, you may use UBER. Please enter the below coordinates in your UBER app. We encourage you to be upfront with your UBER driver that the last stretch of this route is not easy accessible without a 4x4 or SUV sized vehicle.

If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival, then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made. If the booking is cancelled less than 7 days before arrival, then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date), the full cost of the booking is charged.

Please note: Different cancellation policies may apply when the reservation was made via a 3rd party booking service (e.g. Booking.com, Airbnb, Expedia). Those bookings must be cancelled through the applicable provider and cannot be cancelled through us.

We send out detailed arrival instructions 48 hours prior to arrival, check-in starts at 3pm and guests can check-in anytime after that.

SELVA is a dog-friendly property.
